This policy explains how the gohireworkers Facebook Messenger automation webhook (“Service”) handles information received through Meta (Facebook) platforms.

Information We Receive

Messages & metadata

Sender/recipient IDs, timestamps, message text, and attachments sent to connected Facebook Pages.

Platform events

Delivery/read receipts, postbacks, and other Facebook-generated events needed to operate the integration.

Technical diagnostics

Request signatures, timestamps, and error traces used for reliability, security, and abuse prevention.

How We Use Information

To process and respond to Page messages as configured by administrators.
To operate, secure, and improve the Service (including validating signatures and preventing abuse).
To meet legal, compliance, and anti-abuse obligations.

Retention

Operational logs and message payloads are retained only as long as needed for processing, troubleshooting, or compliance, then removed or anonymized.

Security

HTTPS is enforced for transport security.
Webhook requests are validated with Meta-provided secrets/signatures where configured.
Access to infrastructure is restricted to authorized personnel.

Data Sharing

We do not sell personal data. Information is shared only with service providers or partners necessary to operate the Service, or when required by law.

Your Choices

Facebook Page admins can disable or remove the webhook integration at any time.
End users can stop interacting with the Page to cease message collection via this Service.
